My Image Is Too Light or Too DarkUpdated 12 days ago

Lighting Tips for Your iContact Camera

Proper lighting is key to getting the most out of your iContact Camera. Here are a few helpful suggestions:

  1. Use Natural Light: Position yourself facing a window for soft, even lighting whenever possible. Keep in mind that natural lighting can change throughout the day.

  2. Avoid Backlighting: Avoid sitting with bright windows or strong light sources directly behind you, as this can make you appear too dark.

  3. Adjust Your Camera Exposure: If you have the iContact Control app installed, you can adjust your camera's exposure settings to brighten or darken your image. Open the app and fine-tune the exposure until your video looks its best.

  4. Use a Dimmable Light: Our Soft Light and ProMini Light attach directly to your iContact Camera and provide adjustable brightness for better lighting in any environment.

  5. Use Multiple Light Sources: For the best results, use a combination of a key light, fill light, and backlight to reduce shadows and create a more balanced, professional-looking image.
