How can I improve my audio quality during video calls?Updated a month ago
For the best audio quality, speak clearly and position yourself facing your iContact Camera.
While the built-in noise-canceling microphones help reduce background noise, a quiet environment will always provide the clearest sound.
Optimize Your Audio with iContact Control
For additional audio controls and enhancements, we recommend installing the iContact Control app.
Within the app, you can adjust the Denoise setting to reduce background noise and improve voice clarity. Fine-tuning this setting can often resolve common audio quality issues.
Enable Noise Suppression in Your Video Conferencing App
If you're still experiencing background noise, you can also enable your video conferencing application's built-in noise suppression:
Zoom
Settings → Audio → Suppress Background Noise → High
Microsoft Teams
Settings → Devices → Noise suppression → High
Google Meet
Settings → Settings → Audio → Enable Noise cancellation
Select the Correct Microphone
If you have the iContact Control app installed, be sure to select iContact Control as your microphone (audio input) in your video conferencing or recording application. This ensures your audio settings from the app are applied during your calls.
If you do not have the iContact Control app installed, select iContact Camera as your microphone instead.
