Enhancing Image Quality with Your iContact Camera
Get the best image quality from your iContact Camera with the tips below.
Enable HD Video
Zoom
Open Zoom.
Click your profile picture → Settings.
Select Video & Effects (or Video, depending on your Zoom version).
Under Video, enable HD (if available).
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams automatically adjusts video quality based on your device performance and network connection. To achieve the best possible image quality, ensure your iContact Camera is selected as your camera and use a stable, high-speed internet connection.
Google Meet
Open Google Meet.
Click More options (⋮) → Settings.
Select Video.
Set your Send resolution to 1080p (High Definition) for the best video quality.
Improve Your Lighting
Good lighting has one of the biggest impacts on video quality.
Use natural light whenever possible by facing a window.
Avoid strong light behind you, which can make you appear dark or washed out.
For additional lighting, consider our SoftLight or ProMini Light, both of which attach directly to your iContact Camera and provide adjustable brightness.
Adjust Your Camera Settings
Windows
Open the Start menu and search for Camera settings (or Manage cameras, depending on your Windows version) to access your camera settings.
Windows & macOS
For even more control, we recommend using the iContact Control app, which allows you to fine-tune your camera settings, including brightness, contrast, exposure, white balance, and more.
Many of our customers have also found Camo (free version available) to be a helpful tool for additional video controls and camera customization.
